« Back to Career and Skill Training Pair of hands working with a drill machine

IAB established a basic engineering course in 2010 that trains visually challenged students to operate machines. The useful initiative also addresses the employment needs of the visually challenged who are non-graduates.

Keeping in mind the safety needs of the visually challenged the array of machines at the centre are customized. Every year, fifty students are trained in this programme and gainfully placed through the campus employment cell with clients like Hi-Tech Arai.
